I always love to see opportunities for artists of all levels to exhibit their work and develop the confidence and courage needed to share what they love to do with a wider audience. Each exhibition is a stepping stone to the next, and each exhibition gets easier to enter. Having awards like the Pemberton Art Prize also creates an opportunity to support and build wonderful communities for each other, and share in the experience of art making.
